Make a wish

I completed a 2 page layout using the scraps from the layout before this. Scraps tend to be forgotten about so this layout was created. Used the Martha Stewart embellishments leftover from a few days ago. Used the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge for all the cuts. These are pics from my birthday March 2009.

Berry Sweet

Pictures are from June 2009. I used Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge for all the cuts. Embellishments were Recollections from Michaels. The strawberry paper was bought at Wooten's sale this weekend. The rest of the paper was in my stash. I used my Sizzix to give a texture of strawberries. This layout only took a few hours today!!!

Strawberry Picking 2012

Ashley & Matthew picking strawberries for dessert for 4th of July....not all of them made it back to the house. This is a special patch I planted for my grandchildren because I remember being able to enjoy fresh strawberries back home in West Virginia as a child. I used the Sweet Shop Cricuit Lite cartridge I found at Super Walmart on clearance. I used Nursery Rhymes Cricut cartridge for the title. The strawberry charms are Martha Stewart.

Valentine's Day 2012

I completed the final touches to 3...2 page layouts using Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge. I made a layout for Trevor & Joshua, plus one for myself.

Trick or Treat

This is a 2 pg layout of Halloween 2011. I used Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge and lots of Stickles to give it a final touch. These cuts were done ahead with Shannon, Peggy and myself. We were to post our layouts when we finished!!! Well 2 months later...

Love Bug

Ashley April 1009. I used Create A Critter 2 Cricut cartridge to complete this layout. A few months ago Shannon, Peggy & I got together to do a mass cutting. We challenged ourselves to post our creations upon completion at home. It has taken me awhile to post this layout even though I had finished it a few weeks ago!

Radiator Springs June 21, 2012

Today I completed another 2 page layout for Cars Land.  We visited the grand opening on June 21st.  I used a layout I 'scraplifted' from another scrapbooker but I tweaked it to fit Cars Land.  I used Best Creation Inc Travel Forever paper to get a 50's feel.  I used Nifty Fifty cricut cartridge for the gas pump and the route 66 sign.  I cut the title 'Radiator Springs' from the Cars cricut cart.  Elegant Edges cartridge for the journaling tag.  Just one more week before my summer vacation is over..I am hoping to finish scrapbooking this summer's visits to Disneyland & Sea World!

Disney California

Tonight I finished a 2 page layout I have been working on this week.  I designed it in the Cricut Design Studio so that I could make the roller coaster larger and to fit a 2 page layout.  I wanted it to be a background detail along with the ferris wheel.  I used both Mickey & Friends and the Mickey font Cricut cartridges.  California title is from the Calligraphy font.  I used the Summer Vacation cartridge for the roller coaster and ferris wheel.  These pictures were taken in line last year, May 31, 2011 while we were in line for the grand opening of Little Mermaid ride.  This layout is for Trevor's scrapbook.  A journaling tag is behind the 2nd picture with Mickey ears to pull out.  Stickle was used on Mickey, the title and the ferris wheel.  The paper I used was from Michael's for 20 cents a sheet.

Santa Barbara June 2012

A 2 page layout of our trip to Santa Barbara using scraps leftover from another layout I had just finished and to be posted later.  I used a set of stamps and paint I had bought years ago at a scrapbooking convention to do the title.  I used Lifes a Beach cricut cartridge to make the cuts.  The pictures are at a special restaraunt we found where you can sit at tables on the beach and enjoy a seafood dinner. 

Tow Mater layout for Cars Land June 2012

Tonight I finished a 2 pg layout that I have been working on for a week.  I wanted to make it resemble the rides atmosphere in Cars Land.  I hand cut out a California license plate using the date and year we visited as the tags on the plate.  I used Cars Cricut cartridge, which I borrowed from Shannon ( I bought it a few years ago when it first came out for her birthday...who knew that Disneyland would add Cars Land to Disney California!!)  The Route sign was also cut from the cartridge.  To cut out the California word, I used my 50 States cartridge.  The title was designed to match the sign for the ride. 

A Splashing Memorial Day

I completed 7 - 2 page layouts using the same design to make life easier to complete some pages for the same holiday.  I used Lifes a Beach, Home Decor, Kate's ABC's, & Nursery Rhymes Cricut cartridges to make the cuts used on these layouts.  I completed a layout for Trevor, Ashley, Joshua, Matthew and one for my scrapbook.  I also completed 2 more to use for pool pictures of 1984!  Enjoy!

1st Easter layout for Joshua

Today I completed a 2 page layout for Joshua's 1st Easter.  I chose carrots because he had carrots for the first time for Easter.  I used my Create a Critter Cartridge for the bunny and the word "cute".  I used Kate's ABC font for the word "bunny".  The paper was bought this past weekend when Michaels had their paper on sale for 7 sheets for a $1.  I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the bunny and carrot.  I used stickle for the title and the bunny...which had just been added when I took these pictures.

Thanksgiving 2011 layouts

Tonight I completed Thanksgiving layouts for my album as well as layouts for each of my grandchildren.  I used the same layout for all to make it go much faster.  I used my Thanksgiving Solution cartridge for the title and Baby Steps for the year.  I used the Thanksgiving Solution cartridge for the pie.  Stickle was added to the title, year, and pie.
